Every great adventure has an origin story.
Here are a few of our favorite chapters so far.
CHAPTER 1
PLAYER TWO JOINED
We met during our first year of college in a friend's dorm room.
Dana laughed at Landon's jokes, which Landon immediately took as a very promising sign.
After more texting, more hanging out, and a lot of time together,
Landon finally asked Dana on a date. Our first official adventure took us to
The Chimes.
Not long after, we shared our first kiss behind a dorm. In Landon's memory,
it was basically a fairy-tale setting — wispy trees, water, and perfect scenery.
In reality, it was dark, there were mosquitoes everywhere,
and we were standing next to a dumpster.

CHAPTER 2
NEW MAP UNLOCKED
Before our next big move, Dana had already found the most important
member of our party: Boba.
Years later, work took Landon to Connecticut, and Dana and Boba
followed him north. Together, we started building a life of our own —
new jobs, a new home, and plenty of adventures along the way.
Connecticut became home, not because of where we were,
but because we were there together.
CHAPTER 3
THE NEXT QUEST
After eight years together, Landon decided it was finally time
to unlock the next chapter.
We were on a nature path next to our favorite dog park, racing the last
bit of daylight, when Landon decided it was time. Boba was beside us,
Landon was holding a bag of dog poop, and about ten feet away a man on
the path looked, in the fading light, like a mysterious shadowy figure.
With the world's most accidentally dramatic proposal setting assembled,
Landon asked Dana to marry him.
She said yes. ♥
Now we live together in Connecticut with Boba, happily building
our little life and getting ready for our biggest adventure yet.
